ZCF

The ZCF series of air-cooled liquid chillers are designed for industrial process cooling applications and are available in 35 models, ranging from 7kW to 581kW (12/15c).

  • Description

    ZCF is a range of air-cooled chillers suitable for outside installation,
    thanks to its IP54 protection, created to fit both industrial cooling
    processes and air conditioning. The whole range was designed,
    manufactured and tested to work using the R410A gas and it
    consists of a large number of models with cooling power from 7 kW
    to 412kW. Moreover, it was optimized to reach high energy efficiency,
    to offer installation handiness and to guarantee easy maintenance
    operations, both ordinary and extraordinary. The range consists of
    main brands components to offer a high-quality product, great
    efficiency and reliability and it was designed to make installation
    effortless: every unite is standardly equipped with all the necessary
    components. Maintenance is also simple, as all the components can
    be reached with both hands. The standard colour is RAL7035.
    On request, it’s possible to have different or specific RAL colours.

    COOLING CIRCUIT
    The refrigerant circuit is simply manufactured to avoid every kind of
    vibrations on the welding. Infact, all the copper pipes have a small
    amount of welding spots to eliminate refrigerant gas leaks. The
    copper thickness is consistent to realize the best melting and the
    perfect welding. The cooling circuit consists of top brands rotary
    compressors or SCROLL with carter resistance. According to the
    power, every unit is composed of one or two cooling circuits with one
    or two compressors each.


    ELECTRICAL BOARD
    The electrical board has quite large sizes and it is located in a
    specific area surrounded by its frame. All the cables of the electrical
    panel are numbered and connected to the terminal box, also there
    always is the wiring diagram to show the connections.
    Completed with circuit breaker to protect the main parts of the
    chiller, the control section consists of a microprocessor card with
    external interface. Every board is equipped with a lock door device.
    The standard power supply is 400 ±10%/3/50Hz
    Optional: power supply 460 ±10%/3/60Hz

    HYDRAULIC MODEL
    Our range can include the hydronic module or not, therefore it is an
    option that can be required according to the type of system.
    It can be developed in different ways:
    1. no water tank and no pump
    2. only tank
    3. only pump or double pump
    4. water tank and pump or double pump
    5. water tank, primary and secondary pump
    The water tank is standardly equipped with water filter to protect
    the evaporator, manual valve water by-pass to adjust the flow rate of
    the pump and prevent problems.

    TEST
    Every chiller is tested in the testing room. During this phase, the
    following features and operation settings are checked:
    -correct assembly of the components
    -components fastening
    -operation in accordance with safety standards
    -electrical test in accordance with Standard EN60204
    -operation of the electrical board
    -chiller performance under standard conditions

    The ZCF series of air-cooled liquid chillers are designed for industrial process cooling applications, ranging from 7.8kW to 581kW (12/15c). These chillers are designed for flexible use and an IP54 rating can be installed both indoors and outdoors. They come with R410a refrigerant as standard, however low GWP options available (R32, R454B, ZC1234ze ZC513A). It also includes a plate heat exchanger and P3 pump as standard.
